Anouk van Laake is a Dutch soprano with a broad repertoire that varies from classical musical to opera. As a child, Anouk studied at the Cathedral Choir College of Haarlem under Sarah Barrett and Fons Ziekman. She performed as a child actress in different professional shows across the Netherlands including Pinokkio (Studio 100) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Stage Entertainment). During High School Anouk attended the weekend class of the dancing academy of Lucia Marthas and the preparatory year at the conservatory of Tilburg. After graduating school with honors in 2013 Anouk studied Classical Music Theatre at Fontys Conservatory. Here she studied under, amongst others, Edward Hoepelman, Marc Krone and Brigitte Odett. She attended multiple masterclasses in Vienna and took part in the 2016 Classical Voice Intensive at NYU Steinhardt. During her bachelor she performed as a soloist in several concerts including two editions of Best of Musical (Ramaekers Entertainment), Haendel’s Messiah and Faure’s Requiem .
