Anouk Mila van Laake is a Dutch soprano with a broad repertoire that varies from musical to opera. As a child, Anouk studied at the Cathedral Choir College of Haarlem and performed as a child actress in several professional shows across the Netherlands including Pinokkio (Studio 100) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Stage Entertainment)). During High School Anouk attended the dancing academy of Lucia Marthas and the preparatory year at the conservatory of Tilburg. After graduating High School with honors she studied Music Theatre at Fontys Conservatory, one of the leading performing arts schools in Europe. Here she studied under, amongst others, Edward Hoepelman, Marc Krone and Brigitte Odett. She attended multiple masterclasses in Vienna and took part in the 2016 Classical Voice Intensive at NYU Steinhardt. In 2017 Anouk graduated with her performance of the horror opera Diabolique. A self written production based on the 1955 horror movie by Clouzot. Later that year she made her debut in the musical Mozart! (Vereinigten Bühnen Wien) as 'Aloysia Weber'. The year after she toured Europe with The Great Andrew Lloyd Webber Galaas a lead vocalist. Anouk is starring in the first two seasons of the Belgian TV-show Campus 12 as 'Jamie'. In 2020 Anouk will be a part of the cast of the UK Tour of The Phantom of the Opera where she will be alternate ‘Christine Daaé’.
